Walking on the sea

We went to see the exhibition at Akvarell museet, it was a glorious day - ice cold and sunshine (for more links concerning the museum and the exhibitors - go here). If you have the possibility to see the show you just have to, it is good! Fun and much to see.
We met Alexandra and Hector there and took a walk together on the frozen sea. Morran didn't like it, the ice was too sharp for her paws.

Akvarell museet

I have spent a few days at Nordiska Akvarellmuseet (the Nordic Watercolour Museum), as an assistant to Helena Roos who is participating in the exhibition Contemporary Nordic Comics that starts next sunday (31 jan - 14 march). From what I've seen so far I think it will be a fun exhibition. As if that wasn't enough, the museum is beautifully situated and has a really good restaurant :)

Here are some of the exhibitors; Katja Tukiainen, Knut Larsson, Bendik Kaltenborn, Amanda Vahamaki, Marko Turunen, Anneli Furmark and Hugleikur Dagsson

In the last photo Karin, my grandmother, is out walking with her first daughter - my mother.

Disassemble Christmas

The last photo is an apron I've got from my mother. Since Amy started Tie one on I've wanted to make one of the monthly aprons... I haven't had the time yet... but now I have a cute little apron any way.

Look what Irene from Bloesem created with "my" decals.

Yihaa!

Morran didn't attend the dog show, she was out running in the snow. She doesn't like to show off she says (...eh right ;).

I like Hanna Hedman's jewellery, and now I will get the opportunity to see it in person since she has a show at Galleri Hnoss here in Gothenburg, starting tomorrow.

Best in show

I went to a big dog show last weekend. It is always a fun to see the match -breed/owner. But that also worries me, who am I with a dog like Morran...

Visible and unvisible

It is cold but beautiful. Snow is making the world softer, covers crap and lights the day and the night up. I also like that I can see traces of animals, things that Morran can see with her nose all year around, is now visible for me. But all this is only valid in the wild not in the city where the snow turns into something else, something brown, and the animal traces to something yellow.

Inside

Inside, looking out and looking in.

I vaguely remember a time when I used to visit the library to find pictures of a bird or a plant.

Morran's new year's eve

The first part of the day was quite ok for Morran. This was the preparing for dinner part :) As soon as it got dark the fire crackers started and Morran found her refuge in the bathroom, listening to the radio, a culture chanel of course. Overall I have to say it went pretty well. ...so now it is 2010...the future
