Summer project number one - to take down a wall. It sure is a dusty and messy business, but it will be worth it. Under a panel I found the old kitchen wallpaper, isn't it great!?

I know it is silly, but that ray of light on my kitchen wall has been away for months, so seeing it makes me happy. Celebrating with my fourth Semla :)

Gearing up for Christmas

I am working on the Christmas feeling. Five different kinds of Amaryllis is exploding with beauty. I am so happy I found these cute decorations from the 50's on a Christmas market.
I haven't bought a single gift yet... and I have no idea what I will buy.

Dreaming in my daybed

Both Morran and I like to lay down in the new daybed in my workroom at home.
I had an armchair to sit on before, but it was always occupied by someone else. Maybe you could guess who. This way we could both use it.

Morran's new year's eve

The first part of the day was quite ok for Morran. This was the preparing for dinner part :) As soon as it got dark the fire crackers started and Morran found her refuge in the bathroom, listening to the radio, a culture chanel of course. Overall I have to say it went pretty well. ...so now it is 2010...the future

Home sweet home

So nice to be home! I feel totally lost, now I will have to try to find my way back to normal. Right now it is like beeing a tourist in my own life. Billy Shire illustrates my feeling :)
