A ray of light

I know it is silly, but that ray of light on my kitchen wall has been away for months, so seeing it makes me happy. Celebrating with my fourth Semla :)

Pia König's factory

Pia König is making a piece of art to every single room in a new big hotel here in Gothenburg. I love her sculptures and wouldn't mind one in every room in my own apartment. I think half of all artists on Konstepidemin are involved in the projectet in one way or another. The hotel, Clarion Hotel Post, has its grand opening today and tomorrow the Gothenburg Filmfestival has its opening in the hotel :)

a walk

Recently I watched a documentary on tv about Francesca Woodman, well it was called the Woodmans so her artist parents were a big part of it. On the blog My love for you. I stumbled on this post about her.

My studio at Konstepidemin. I rent it (toghether with Helena Roos) when the owner (Pecka Söderberg) is out travelling around the world. Alexandra paied me a visit, she just came home from Colombia.

Workshop 2012

Ace Camp are heading back to Goteborg, Sweden, to join Camilla Engman for the third time. To learn the art of making different backgrounds and textures and to sketch and paint. May 13 - 20, 2012

The group will be staying at Hotel Flora and will have time to explore Gothenburg together and on their own. Camilla will lead a 4 day workshop and take us to her inspirational places in Gothenburg. This Ace Camp will include an excursion to the west coast archipelago and the town of Marstand where you will collect your imagery in sketchbooks and transform them into a painting in the studio.
Artists of all levels, from beginner to experienced are encouraged to participate.

This Ace Camp includes:
* 4 day workshop with Camilla Engman
* 7 nights accommodation at Hotel Flora in Goteborg, Sweden
* 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches, snacks and final night dinner and cocktail party.
* Transportation to Marstrand

Workshop is limited to 10 people.

Three small things

Today we had the first snow for not only this year but this winter! We also had sun the other day and everyone ran out from their homes, happy. I ran all the way to the forrest. On top of that I had a panforte, made by my sister in law Birgitta, to accompany my coffee :)

Puzzled

Started the new year with an old jigsaw puzzle. I started without knowing what the picture of the puzzle was, I liked that. I wonder if you could do a 2000 piece puzzle without the picture? I guess it would take a while :)

Hello 2012
