Recidency

I had the opportunity to spend my days in another studio. I tried to think about it as some kind of recidency, since I couldn't bring much material with me, and try something new.

Art and collage workshop

Last week I held a workshop at Konstepidemin (organized by Ace Camp) with nine beautiful and interesting persons. I hope they had as much fun as I did :-)

The Late Autumn Art Show

A group show at Konstepidemin 2020-11-28 – 2020-12-20.

Workshop

I held a workshop through Ace Camps Travel. The workshop was a three day workshop and held at Konstepidemin in Gothenburg, Sweden, the area where I have my studio. We worked with painted paper to make collage, to do something small much bigger using overhead/projector/printer, and then we used it all to make a zine (fanzine). Of course we visited my studio and I showed some of my work. We also took a tour around Konstepidemin and visited the gallery and another artists studio. In the evenings we all went out to eat and to talk about nothing special. I'm always a bit nervous before it all starts but then it is so much fun! And when the time comes to say good bye I'd like them to stay a week longer. A visit in Dan Perrin's studio

Every now and then artists at Konstepidemin, where I have my studio, open their studios for visitors. It's always such a treat to see that space where people creat their art. It's often more personal then their home. This is Dan Perrin's place.

Bra 10

Tisdagen den 20e är det året sista och kanske bästa Bar 10 här på Konstepidemin. Kom. Alla är välkomna!
Det kommer grillas och alltså finnas något att äta, också :-) Rya Skog (med bl a Bosse och Lasse Melin och Martin McFaul) kommer att spela, kortare performance kommer att utföras och Dj kommer att spela. Jakob Sjöstedt har hand om atmosfären.
Marschaller och eldar kommer leda er rätt.

This saturday

Pia König and I will have a small exhibition in the "glass box" in Galleri Konstepidemin here in Gothenburg. All about print. Goes on until the 20th of November. Welcome!

Kiosken

Nu på fredag, den 26:e, är det Konstepidemins dag. Då händer det lite det ena och det andra här på Konstepidemin. "Kiosken" är en av dom sakerna. Kiosken på Bageriet - en diversehandel. Nytt och gammalt, högt och lågt. Jag kommer att bl a att sälja Studio Morran produkter, barnböcker, pins och sånt som jag har för få av för att lägga ut i webshopen. Kom och fynda! Kiosken är öppen mellan 12-20 (Konstepideminsdag är mellan 16-20). Cash eller Swish gäller. Välkomna!

Visiting Per

It's always exciting to visit Per Agélii's studio (when do you say studio vs workshop?). He's occupied working towards an exhibition here in Gothenburg in March. I'm very much looking forward to see it! But before that it will be time for the yearly easter egg painting :-)

A post to late

It might be the first time in over 10 years that I've missed a blogpost, forgotten to post about something I wanted you to know about. But since this blog is like a diary for me, and I like to look back to see what I've done and when, I will post it here anyway. It was a very short "performance" - two occasions for 15 minutes, a 2D3D setup by Per Agélii and myself. Fun as ever.
