Birdie the Knife

You have to take care of your bird.
I once had a budgie, it gave me a lot of... guilt. It was a bird and birds flying is the very image of freedom. I gave it to someone else, the bird and the guilt.

Metamorphos

The metamorphosis, that’s why I painted this in the first place. The fully
realised state, of us. How the world need to change. And if we don't
- mother earth will make us.

I had the opportunity to spend my days in another studio. I tried to think about it as some kind of recidency, since I couldn't bring much material with me, and try something new.

The Easter Groupshow

Now on thursday opens the 7th edition of Galleri Thomassen's annual spring exhibition. There you can see two of my paintings. The exhibition include over 100 artworks in a wide variety of media such as drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, textile, installation and photography.
