Wrapping

What has that cat in his mouth? I guess it is his own paw but it looks like someone else's hand.
These sardines looks more like tiny aquarium fishes to me, but who cares when the lady that sells them looks so nice :-)

Folk Object, found through Design Sponge.

food packaging and illustrations are assigned to them around the world fascinates me ... I think I can stay as long as a museum in a foreign supermarket.

I have the same thing with foreign supermarkets. Love to see what they have and how the packages look.

Hej Camilla!

those sardines are portuguese, and the package is vintage, it's very difficult to find them at our regular supermarkets in portugal.

The explanation:

Petinga is the name we give to the tiny sardines (5 cm max) which is a special dish around here, grilled or fried.

These ones are "petingas selecção". A special selected brand.

Daniel, I'm sure they taste better than they look ;-)
