Thank you for the link, Camilla :) Hydraulic cement tiles were widely used in Portugal until a few decades ago. They're still in production but unfortunately most people now prefer to replace them for more modern and uninteresting materials.
Am always delighted to see photos of Moran. If I could take the chair and the dog I'll be on my way.
