The workshop has started!

So, I've finally met all the participants of my workshop. I like them all very much already. They come from different parts of the world - Brazil, Argentina, Canada, USA, Slovenia, England, Italy, Sweden and the Netherlands. I feel very honored!

Weather report

Drawn in - another great book from Julia Rothman, it is full of different people's sketchbooks (I'm proud to count me in).

Thank you for your comments people :) Always a pleasure. I'll try to figure the camera out. I'll have to read the manual (puh!) now, in the beginning, I'll never read it later on if I know my self. I will also have to get use to the size! I feel intimidated by it and a little bit shy to put it up. I'll get over it. I just realized I've posted two pictures of myself this week!

It's pretty cold and rainy here at the moment. I wish the swedish weather could show itself from its best side for the workshop participants.. but right now it doesn't look good. We'll work harder instead ;)

No clue

New camera (and glasses) and no clue :)) I hope I can figure it out. Since I am a point and shoot kind of woman, not at all interested in the technology, I've invested in a Nikon D7000... I can't say if it is a good camera or not - yet, but I sure hope so.

I like this picture of Morran and myself. I think Elisabeth is the photographer but I'm not sure.

Next weekend my workshop will start!

Wood piles

Is it so that piles of any kind looks interesting? If it is so - why does it appeal to us?

I just ordered this book by Leanne Shapton - Native trees of Canada (found it through the Topipittori blog)

Yoga weekend

A weekend once a month during, the whole year, I'll go to a yoga class to get the practices that I will do each day for about 15 minutes, during a whole year! This is day 75 of 365. This weekend I spent three hours on both saturday and sunday practicing yoga with Mithila and my new monki friends. Afterwards I was filled with energy. So much energy that it surprised me. During a few hours I had done as much as I usually do during a whole week! I wonder if it would work the same way if I spent three hours exercising yoga every day. Imagine how much I would get done. I could go on vacation after six month ;-)

Two days left for ordering prints!

Storybook bed :)

I left my paintings at Konstakademien and then we went to Karin's shop Manos, which is closed on mondays, now you can find a bit more of my work there. It was lovely to meet Karin and her crew (especially little Leonard :)

I'm off to Stockholm

Just for the day, to meet Karin and to leave her a package full of things like these (the story continues) for her beautiful shop Manos.
I will also pay this place a visit to leave two paintings to apply for a scholarship, this is step two, so keep your fingers crossed.
