Like summer

I have to say easter is my favorite holiday, it is spring and you don't have to do anything special except to paint an egg or two.

These photos made me smile - Matt Stuart (found through kickcan and conkers)

(thank you for the chocolate, Barbara! I could not stop myself, but ate it all at once and by myself...)

Happy Easter!

Ulrika has made a tutorial on how to colour eggs with onion shells.
Jeana Sohn's egg.
Luise has painted some eggs too... so now I guess it's time for the rest of us to pick up the egg and colour it. Happy Easter!

We are so happy about the weather!

The weather is extremely nice, but not so good for working ;)

I've linked to Rokuro Taniuchi's illustrations before, I like them very much!

Someone is watching

Every tree in the slope had eyes and stared at Morran and me on our morning walk. With trees like that you never feel alone.

How do you say thank you for a gift like this?

Morran is a popular girl! She got a package the other day from Ulrika Kestere (her blog ulicam). Isn't this just wonderful, Morran thinks so :) A shrine... just what she needed (diva).

Almost every single one I talked to in Bologna said - "Camilla so nice to meet you, I really like your work... So... where is Morran?!"
For all Morran fans out there, Morran production proudly present - a film - Paperbag trouble.

The opening of Distant Friends

Before the storm...

...and during the storm :) It was crowded!

I talked with so many people and at the same time I didn't have time to talk to anyone, you know how it is. It was a great but crazy evening!!

Here are a few more persons I met:
Just before leaving, and way to short, Mariana Massarani
Beatrice Alemagna made me very happy by buying one of my drawings :) She told me she is planning something with Jockum Nordström, can't wait to see what that will be!
Long time web-friends - Natascha Rosenberg and Blanca Helga
Carll Cneut (Carll, you have to update your website!)
Cecilia Ramieri
Harriet Russell who had a brand new book ready for the fair.
Ana Castagnoli
Adolfo Serra
Violeta Lupiz
Mina, Aurora, Cristina and Violetta.
I know it was many more... but right now I can't remember... my apologies.

Ana also had an opening , the evening before, for her latest book "Nine stories about love"

Hanging in Hamelin

This is the way to Hamelin Associazone Culturale, you can hear the birds singing and someone practicing the piano. We, Ana and I, had a lot of great help from people at the Hamelin to hang the exhibition, like Guilia, Sarah, Alessandra, Alberto and Roberta. A special thanks to Valerio, who kindly enough, came by and helped us. Thanks to all the help we were ready just in time, three rooms took about three days to get ready.
