In the second film, in the post below, Morran is hiding something in the woods. Hiding and finding - spaghetti. I wonder who put it there and why?

I love when it is so warm you can sit in the shadow, preferable under a tree. It's been a month of sun, sun and sun. No one is complaining except for the nature that needs rain now. This weekend it will be about 30 degrees celsius (86 in farenheit)! Both Morran and I will be sitting under a tree :) I wish you a sunny weekend.

Super lunch

Today Alexandra invited me to a picnic lunch at the harbour! A super nice lunch with a super nice lady :)

I didn't do it

Today I've seen a little girl looking and touching at all the different fruits and vegetables in the grocery shop. She looked happy all the time until she touched the coconut and twitched, she looked up at her dad with a scared facial expression. I think she wasn't aware of what she was doing and that the coconut beard woke her up.

Today I saw a man in a wheelchair, sitting on a traffic island surrounded by a lot of traffic, smoking a really fat cigarr.

I've got a package from Elizabeth - Twig, a Julie Arkell doll! She had a little moo card with an illustration made by Ana with her in the package. Selvedge issue 22 had an article about Julie Arkell.

Today I've seen 10 women, some in headscarf and veil, helping each other when trying to learn how to bike. They laughed a lot.

The square in Trollhättan, this is where I hang out in my teens. I'm sorry Trollhättan but I can see why I left.

Today I meet a man who asked which breed Morran was - Danish/swedish farmdog, I answered. He said it looks very managable, easy to clean.... and made this polishing gesture... and walked away.

Today I've seen a woman with long beautiful red hair walking against the light. Today I've seen a woman walking on crutches but still wearing really high-heels. Tomorrow I'll see my mother. On monday there will be a new issue of Lines & Shapes. Right now, here's a flying ghost from Jess, and here's a brooch made by Estela Saez.

The breakfast club

A great start on a beautiful day, breakfast with Sandra, Johan and Elisabeth.

Today I saw a hen that had found a single green grape, all the other hen chased her in a long line. I stod there and watched them for a long time but finally I had to leave. I wonder if she ever got the opportunity to eat it.

Noticing

Before I started a blog I had a journal where I wrote down things I noticed. I started doing that after reading a book written by Erlend Loe, I think it was "Naive, super". It helped me to notice things, to appreciate it and to see that strange and sometimes wonderful/ugly things happens. I will try to find that journal again. Taking photos helps me to see things, but it is hard to photograph a course of events or a conversation overheard at the bus.

Today I met a man when I was out walking in the park/forest, he didn't talk very good swedish but we said hello to each other and started to talk. He went to this off path place everyday. He had brought two beers and two deserts :) He had a plastic bag full of breads and walnuts, he was waiting for his friends. Everyday birds and especially squirrels came and got something to eat, they had become friends and I could see that he was happy about it. He pointed out a little mountain of walnut shells. I sat down and waited for the squirrels with him. Then two friends show up, human friends, I thought he was talking about the squirrels when he talked about his human friends. After a while I could see a squirrel jumping from one tree to another to get to teh meetingpoint. I had to leave because Morran gets crazy about squirrels. He said I was welcome back any day.

Soft green

All the green is totally fresh, soft and new. The smell is fantastic, newborn birch leaves, stinging nettles and bird cherry blossom. To that you can add birds singing. It is almost like spring is overdoing it.
