Vi leker att vi är pippifåglar

In my hands I'm holding my first book for children in swedish :) "Vi leker att vi är pippifåglar". I'm very happy about it!
Not yet available in the shops.

Not even in my wildest dreams I would dreamt about having my name beside Barbo Lindgren's!

Getting ready for Bologna Children Book fair 2013! I'll be a part of the exhibition "Upside down - Contemporary Voices of Swedish Illustration", it will be at the Museo Civico Archeologico di Bologna, Via dell’Archiginnasio 2 , Bologna. Opening: 25 March, 7 p.m. 26 March-14 April. Hope to see you there.

What I am working on

I'm working on another children book for Topipittori (here is the last book - Too Late/Troppo Tardi). The one I'm working on now is, very briefly, about a book and all the fantastic things that can emerge within a book and it's story.

Take a look at these fun paint brush coat hooks, found through Zickermans.

The story continues

Remember this? I might have found him, Richard. Here you can see some of his friends.

A fantastic illustrator - Rokuro Taniuchi!

Still looking for Richard

Richard is the main character in a lovely story that was sent to me by the Italian publisher Topipittori. They want me to illustrate this story, so I'm trying things out. It has been a lot of trying and not so much making lately. It is the best part of creating I think. When everything is still possible. I haven't found Richard yet or maybe he just hasn't introduced himself.

I'm very happy and honored about they asking me. They have many talented illustrators on their list.

Searching for Richard

" You there, what have I told you about sneaking around in other peoples places!? Come out of that magazine right now!"
