Calendar

This year I've been thinking that I will probably not make a 2012 calendar. Yesterday I took the final decision that there will be no more calendar. There are too many of them and I felt no desire to make one, and desire and curiosity are my main fuels.

So what did I start my morning with, working on a 2012 calendar! I have no idea how that happened :-)

This is still a secret and I don't really know what will happen or how, but I have a vague idea about it. I want to have a forum for all the cute things that wants to come out and as Studio Violet does not exist anymore there might be a Studio Morran in the future... but I haven't had the time to implement it yet (you can see that I started a while ago).
So why am I telling you all this now you might wonder. Because IF I make a calendar for next year (I'm not 100% clear if yet) it will be more on the cute side than last years calendars. A Studio Morran calendar. I will of course keep you updated.

The oarswoman

This is one of the paintings from my current exhibition, the Oarswoman 94x122 cm (37x48 inches).
She is also on the cover on my calendar for 2011. There is so many calendars out there...! Maybe this will be the last year for me, we'll see.

I don't have the time to pack and ship this year, but still wanted to make a 2011 calendar, so I've got help with that part. So don't be afraid if you don't recognise my "shop" :-) The price and the size is the same as last year and it contains work from my past year. I hope you'll like it.

I was reading Sandra's blog and she informed her readers about the Christmas shipping, or at least according to Swedish post. So if you want my calendar to reach you before Christmas, here's the info:

Calendar 2010

I'm working on my 2010 calendar. It will have the same format as last year, well as every year so far, and it will be ready to ship in about three weeks. I'll keep you updated. I think I will throw in a picture of Morran, originally made for the book Janine - at Uppercase - is working on right now.
