I always love to find those pieces of rope on the beach (though it certainly would be better if there wasn't any litter at all)! I have a similar collection I put together in june, collecting everything I found within a distance of 3 metres on the beach. put everything in a bottle to display - beautiful but somehow sad as well, showing all civilization's waste.
