We lived in Alfama, the orange trees were in bloom and smelled like it never smells in Sweden and the Fado singers didn't sound so very swedish either ;) (Recently Fado was added to the list of World Heritage). The breakfast bread... was not so swedish either, good to have something more substantial like a Pasteis De Nata to eat after.

that bread really doesn´t look tasty.... you should try "Pão da Avó" or "Pão de Água".We have them in almost every bakery. Much better!
