Distant Friends

I've finally got a copy of each of these screenprints/emroidery! They just need a little bit of ironing. They are from Ana Ventura's and my collaboration - Distant Friends.

Today I had the honour to meet Cinzia and Antonino :)

Read my it-list over at SF Girl By Bay.

  1. I love the screen prints and embroidery designs. Really whimsical and fun. But your list!! An electric bike AND Petersham nurseries. Well... I, too, think I could use an electric bike and I love Petersham nurseries. We live (sort of) close to them and I've even had cake and coffee in their beautiful cafe and I swear the coffee was the best I've EVER had. Ever.

  2. Dragonlane, you know - I'd have to bike all the way from Gothenburg so I'll need the bike to be electric ;)

Anna, too bad they didn't arrive from Bologna before the workshop.. I thought it would, but I just got it a couople of days ago. I'm glad you like it.

  3. I love these pieces on linen, right? The embroidery and the small bits of color really makes them that much more special! I'm wondering if you will stretch them or sew the edges? Beautiful!!

  4. Linen right. You can see how we mounted them here, like the canvas you paint on - http://www.flickr.com/photos/natascha_sr/5590672078/in/pool-1668525@N21/
