No clue

New camera (and glasses) and no clue :)) I hope I can figure it out. Since I am a point and shoot kind of woman, not at all interested in the technology, I've invested in a Nikon D7000... I can't say if it is a good camera or not - yet, but I sure hope so.

I have the D3100 and can say after a bit of fiddling around and finding the basic settings - it takes great pictures, I am really happy w/ the Nikon and I am most definitely a point and shoot "type"...in fact I still have my old point and shoot just in case ;)

PS- the glasses suit you- you look like your ready for your workshop coming up!!

I just bought a D7000 a month or so ago. It's wonderful! I'm still learning, still feeling like I have no clue what I'm doing with it, but I know I love it!
Good luck. I'm sure you'll be doing amazing things with it in no time :).

I invested in a nikon D90 a few years ago (the D7000 is apparently the model set to eventually replace the D90 in nikon's DSLR range).... gotta say - I LOOOOOOVE my nikon.... after the first steep learning moments - I've found that its both easy to use, really versatile and takes a mighty good shot (even in v difficult circumstances... including having me as the photographer!)

if you love your D7000 half as much as I love my D90, you'll be super happy!

I love your new spectacles! I also just got a new pair this week (from Warby Parker) and would love to have a great DSLR to shoot with as well. Have fun with your fantastic new camera, and your new stylish glasses--love your self-portrait :)

what a super nice photo and love your glasses - very sexy and smart!

I understand your problem, I tend to be overwhelmed by too much features/opportunities and technologies, and still prefer my old point and shoot camera...

have fun!

I can't believe you did all your previous photos with a point and shoot! I can just imagine what you can do with your new toy once you get to know it a little.

and the glasses are gorgeous!

Looking very stylish! I still haven't figured out my DSLR. It all gets to complicated and I head back to my trusty film.

Tro mig, som en som har jobbat med glasögon i många år, jag tror bestämt att du har EN clue, minst. Ser bra ut... (gissa om man hörde den i optikerbutiken, ca tio gånger per dag...:)

I hear you about the camera, but who knows maybe it will end up your favorite. And if not just go back to the snapshot camera.

Hi Camilla, I just saw your blog. Love the pictures.
I also had Nikon D7000 since May 2011 and love it. It is a good camera. You can also read the review from Ken Rockwell in http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d7000.htm. He also like his D7000. I also had a manual book somewhere from a website because my manual book is in Deutsch and I don't really speak that language.
Hope to see more pictures from your D7000 :).
