Ceramic fun

Karin and I made a collaboration last year, remember? We called it "Mme Ochre and Mr Black". I attached my pictureworld to her ceramic. We had so much fun we wanted to try to take it further, do more. We started to think about it in the late summer, but after that time just flew away.
This time Karin has made these delicious, thick and small bowls - I think of them as stones. But they are, as stones often are - perfect, and that of course scares me. What could I do to make them look better. I don't want to add and destroy. So right now I'm just playing with them, trying to make them less intimidating :)

I love the bowl/stones such delicious colors, and I bet they feel so nice to hold, like a smooth stone. I can't what to see what you are going to make!

I love the rabbit and his collar. and I love how it becomes a sort of a fantasy landscape, a little world, by the way you placed them all. with the huge rabbit head in the middle of the other islands.

Such a wonderful color palette. I know the results will be wonderful. Is the rabbit made of clay?

Elizabeth, the rabbit is made of clay but hasn't been in the kiln yet :)

It might be fun to play around with the different ways Moran would turn that form into a nest. In a circle, chin in the rim, etc. they are so comfy-looking!

Thank you for this entry. The playfulness and search of your designwork is like a bridge, showing similarities to my stageworld of puppetry, in which everything is searching, playing, and me in the middle thinking about ways to not only be a performer but also become a designer of stage and puppets and survive with it. In this head-mess your entry is balm for heart & soul :)
