In the neighborhood

One of my latest paintings (see it bigger here).

I like these two ways of making graffiti, makes me want to join in - Green graffiti and Reverse graffiti (found through Uppercase blog).

have you spoken anywhere about the repetition of these (i don't know what to call them) "outfits" or "outerwears" your characters often wear? Is it local to Place? Or something else... maybe Morran knows. :)

Mansuetude, I haven't nearly spoken to myself about them. I think they are layers of themselves. To do what layers do, protect, hide, keep comfortable, disguise, make them look like something they are not.

Hello Camilla! Oh and hello Mansuetude!

I love the way you say "I haven't nearly spoken to myself about them" followed by an "I think".

Art seems to come out of a place deeper than merely consciously deciding. It is more of an acting out what lies beneath, to me that is.

Carry on, so beautiful!
