Vacation 2008 part one

Driving around on the french countryside. It always suprises me how much there is to see and do. We skip most of it and just takes it easy, eating a long breakfast at the camping and just walks around. Morran talks us in to stop at a nice castle, she wants to have her picture taken. We have a cup of coffee and a cake while we are there, Morran doesn't think that is necessary.

Of course the coffee and cake are necessary! Silly dog!!!

Great links, as usual. Thank you!

Oh! SOmeone told me before my trip to Europe I should try to make it to Château de Chambord, but it was not quite on our route. Did you enjoy the twisting staircase?

I'm with you, I think the long vacation breakfasts are among the best parts about a vacation :)

I love the flowers, so pretty!
And Morran with the chateau on background is great, of course!

Great post, it really made my evening :) Too bad that the stuff I have to finish tonight can't be written in this style.

I hope you've all had a lovely holiday and it's good to see you back. Morran looks very distinguished in front of the castle. I can't agree with her on the coffee and cake though - that is essential when you are on vacation.
