Anything but white

Paying Bibbi a visit. Her home is full of the most beautiful things (and colour), and so is her blog.

Meshes of the afternoon, by Maya Deren and Alexander Hamid. This film has the same "tone" as Bibbi's latest work, some how. Maya Deren must be one of the most beautiful women ever.

Dear Camilla,
Thank you for your art. I particularly love your drawings which I discovered through Illustration Friday. It is really inspiring, with fresh and lovely vison of a sort of parallel realm.

Oh how I love "Meshes in the afternoon." I could watch it over and over. Wasn't Maya Deren unbelievably beautiful? I would love to have her hair and mind:)

It's interesting how those objects, which are so different from esch other, just blend in a perfect match!
Just love it!

hm, ja - jag misstänkte nog att Bibbi inte skulle ha det vitt hemma hos sig. det är verkligen intressant att se hur folk som håller på med estetiska saker har det hemma (vissa bryr sig inte alls!)

Gorgeous photos. I especially love the top one; is is a floor that has been stenciled? I love the worn, rustic look of it. :)

i hope bibbi won't be too shocked to find me sitting on the floor like a six year old on that bottom photo reading her books. I love the little secret hidden-ness of that scene.

to watch Maya Deren videos == a great gift. I love the other one she did too. Maybe have a small hint about what Bibi might be up to ! ^) mystery is .

My place looks so nice! Thank you for the inspiring video, though I think my work can't really live up to that sense of mystery. Will give instructions for floor paint some day :)
