Light

It was a very strange pink light outside, before it got dark. Which it gets very early this time of the year. It's dark half past four! And it's getting darker. Luckily there are other light sources.
A classic friday dinner with shrimps and wine.

The plant on your table (the one with the beautiful light shapes everywhere) looks straight out of one of your illustrations.
Also, It's so nice to hear the details of what it is like over there (dark at 4:30), thanks for including that.

It's so dark here too - it doesn't seem to get very light at all actually...which is fine, except I am trying to take some photos and it's not working AT ALL ;)

That dinner looks superb. I want shrimps and wine too!

In Denmark we also had pink light this afternoon (just postet it) and YES it sure gets dark early these days...but then I "turn on" the candlelights and got fire in my "brændeovn"...cosy
I LOVE your lamp and the pattern it´s making...and your wall collection is nice...

I don't know what time it gets dark here in France but it is certainly cold. I wish I had a "brændeovn". I am guessing that that is a wood burning stove.

I love the eclectic mix of pictures and the light sconces. It looks cosy.

its interesting that we are all so aware of the light, the shifts of light in our own parts of town. I think it gets dark here about 6"00 now and the sky is often pink, almost surreally glowing... Its sweet that we could all wish each other a candlight night, all across the globe.. We should start a link where we offer each other a candle, across the globe, for the winter months. ?
