Yoga

I'm taking yoga lessons one morning every week. I'm always thinking I will make it by myself, but it never happens. Why is that? You know you want to, you know it's good for you but no.
Sweden has got its first Yoga magazine. Maybe you are better than I'm to do yoga by yourself, here is daily yoga lessons. And there is a lot of yoga instructions on YouTube.

Thank you for your comments yesterday :) you are so nice.

i happens the same to me, i go to yoga one night a week and i always mean to do it on my own over the weekend, but i never do! i don´t know why, maybe it´s because i enjoy having a teacher to guide me... or maybe i´m just lazy, hahaha.

thanks for the links!

don't worry! if one day you need to do yoga, you will do it… just listen to your body.

Keep a sense of humor regarding Yoga. It works best when you can get a few laughs from it.

Amazing... I started yoga lessons yesterday! I attempted dance classic for years and was looking for something similar to the stretching and 'barre' (don't know the term in english). And yesterday i suddenly thought 'wow, that was what i needed, what i was looking for. Quite different but also similar. I love trying to be more and more concious of my body.

My Mum is a yoga teacher so luckily both Louise and myself can pop along twice a week... and I miss it when I can't go along for one hour class. It's wonderful to spend that time 'in the body' and for all the usual mind chatter to be put on hold for a spell.
Here's to feeling more at home on blogger, too.
take care, g xo

I'm exactly the same, I go to a class twice a week but I never get around to practising it at home.

i can sympathize. i haven't practiced at all this summer and am having trouble motivating myself to get back to the studio. i think the cooler temps might help. :) xo

I've been doing yoga for quite a while now - two classes a week for the last couple of years but I still never have the self discipline to do it at home. I was the same when I did tai chi as well... though after the classes you always feel so stretched and relaxed....ah well. Love your blog Camilla even though I don't often comment I visit most days.

Lovely photos! The baby doll in the middle looks just like me attempting the bow pose!

Yoga is fantastic - and honestly, classes are important even if you are doing your own practice at home. Don't worry...it is like water on sand...it will become so much a part of your day to day life that soon you will be nose to nose with Morran doing the down dog whilst waiting for the kettle to boil! :-)

{sorry about the deleted comment. Blogger and I have our moments..)

funny! I've been searching for Yoga classes lately and this saturday I'm going to see if there's a convenient timetable at a club, the worst for me ? To go to a Yoga class at 8pm, I just can't !!!!

i can't seem to do yoga on my own either, and i won't pay for a class until i start at home (that's my reward...)
i love it though...and i really need some sort of physical activity...but knitting is sorta physical...or at least that's what i'm telling myself!

same here too.
at the studio, i can easily do 90 minute of yoga but yet at home, if i do 30 min, that's miracle.. something about focusing only on your body with a groups of people is very soothing..
