We played with acrylic backgrounds on different material and with different structure.
Angela prepared delicious lunches for all of us, I only photographed the sweets... no surprise :)

Workshop part 2

Janien, Jasmine, Luise, Barbara, Susan, Sue, Kristen, Nana and Elsa - The workshop participants - they were all keepers, I would have loved to have them hanging around in the studio all day :-) It feels like I know them but I don't know much about their lives, and I miss them already. And I miss Angela too. I hope you all got home safely and easy (and that Sue is having a good time in Stockholm). Here is a film I think you'll like - about Marcel the shell
This was a day with mostly paper and compositions and a short but intense (as you can see in the last picture) lesson in how to crochet one of my characters.

The workshop has started!

My workshop has sort of started. And such a lovely bunch of ladies! Today we just made some sightseeing. We started with a café visit, a short boat tour to a fleemarket and wrapped it up with a lunch.

Photos from a birthday party in a summerhouse. Morran waited for something to fall down under the table. A band played (you could say it was this band from the 80's, Camouflage, that played) and the sunset made its best.

I saved this little guy and his softie (at least the photo of them) from a spanish dumpster. Now they live with me.

Strawberries on my mind

I was so happy to see there were still strawberries in Sweden when we came back from our vacation. I've had swedish strawberries on my mind the whole vacation. Now I've been eating strawberries and blueberries every day since we came back. I'm satisfied :-)
