Love the colours, the smell, the sound of swallows and mopeds and then the warm wind moving the hair on my body. The plant on the last photo looks a bit like a city map :)
Beautiful plant, edible too :) It is Portulaca oleracea i think! Great in salads or by itself. In the Greek countryside you can find it everywhere growing as a weed - especially near the sea. I love it!
The plant city map is Portulaca oleracea most known by Beldroega. Very nice in soup, or broth, or in a dish called açorda (with bread) :) Did you enjoy your hollidays? K_line
in deed, Portulaca Oleracea is know in Portugal as beldroega. in English is called verdolaga (the word used in Spain). As far as Portugal is concerned, once used in poor people soups' today is a gourmet ingredient -quite rich in omega 3.
These photos are stunning! I love the one with you (is that you?) floating in the water. What is that place? The photo with the tall grass is really dreamy.
NOW i see why you went to this place. Solitude, for one reason. Beautiful experience.
