So many of us around the world felt we knew and loved that little dog through your stories and photos. Glad if that network of comments and thoughts helps you a little bit. Sweet Morran
let your sadness be Camilla, but also remember the good. we lost our 14 year friend 2 years ago and I still ache. the void never fills, you just learn to live with the hole. take care and take comfort in your memories.
I´m so sad about your loss, Camila. For a long time, Morran `came`to my house with his pose, sympathy and those great nose by your photos.. now, it´s time to remember all the best feeling this cute dog showed us. Sorry about my poor English
In my experience, the deep sadness will change over time, with your loss. But you will know this later. From time to time, I visit my old friend in the forest, where he rests, marked by a little rock. Special loves come with the same degree of loss. Could it be any other way? Thinking of you and your sweet Morran.
I am teary as I write this. After my cat died in October, I was so very heartbroken. Someone wrote on my blog, "She was cherished" and I can say that about Morran. She was cherished. Bless you. My heart really does go out to you.
NO. it can't be... I am so sorry camilla. I still have (and cherish) the 'iron on' transfer of his adorable face from many years ago ( a gift from you in a parcel) I don't really believe he is gone? I am not very good with loss, it is so confusing... all our love from Adelaide xxx
I didn't say this in my comment on your last post, but Morran was part of the reason I adopted my dog Ellie. I wanted a dog anyway, but seeing how much you and Morran loved each other made me really want that in my life as well. So I want to say thank you. We all love Morran!
Morran was a joy to all who viewed her through your photos and descriptions. I'm sending you warm hugs and a wish for happy memories to fill your heart and wash away the sadness.
we don't know each other, I passed of here and... I know what it means, it is very sad, unfortunately at times life seems cruel but I believe and I hope that a sense there is... an embrace F.
I'm so sorry about Morran and just have a pale hint about the sadness that you are dealing with right now. I guess all the good memories help by the time. Still... I'll get tears to my eyes just thinking about Morran. And the same situation I'm with Pikseli some day. Warm hugs!
Your Morran so touched my heart. I know how you are feeling, the deep pain in your heart. I am so sad for you, I have been there too...
{Tears}
I lost my girl to cancer on June 25, 2010.
Morran will be with you forever, as I am sure you know. Right there, in your heart. You will feel her...
Forever changing you, and what a gift, to have known such love.
Today I have two boys in my life, Matty and Miles. I tell you this because, I never thought I could love again, like I loved my golden retriever, Baby. But, somehow, in my broken heart, there was space, and more love. I never would have believed it.
I feel so much sorrow for you, and send so much love from the other side of the world...
Ciao Camilla, I've made euthanasy to my cat Snype 3 months ago. And, despite she's not here anymore,I feel like if she's and will always be aside me. I'm an atheist, but I'm pretty sure that inside ouserselves there's a space called eternity, something that has to do with all those beings we feel deeply in touch with. Past, present and future mix all up. I'm sure that you understand what I mean... all my best, Daniela
jag har läst här av och till i flera år. men varit mest anonym. så otroligt sorgligt! vi älskar våra hundar så förbehållslöst...jag förstår din smärta.
i live in switzerland in a beautiful city cald la chaux-de-fonds. our local newspaper is called l'impartial and wednesday, i read the last page in which a journalist tells us about a short story of everyday life. it was about morran and i was very much touched.
Morran was a joy to see in your photos and in your illustrations. I long to have a dog friend, but I worry at the thought of losing that friend, they become so precious. Lots of love from England xxx
She was such very special little dog, and together you and Morran touched a lot of hearts brought so much joy. A life well lived. When I saw the news I had a big cry and felt so sorry for your loss, Camilla. Best wishes from Canada. Thank you for sharing so many little details of her (and your life) with us all around the world.
Dear Camilla, Thank you for sharing your sweet Morran with us. I really enjoyed seeing his life. I'm so sorry for your loss. He was the best and so are you!
Camilla, For some years I have cherished Morran liveliness through your blog with much love. I am very sorry for her departure. In Brazil, some people still know that the animals, as human beings, carry on living when they lose their bodies. Not only as part of cosmic energy, but also as an individual spirit, fond of you, close to you, that is still going to miss you and going to follow you on the woods, when your nostalgia is very strong. I wish that this understanding help you to carry on despite the void that she has left with your art and your joy. Congratulations for the beautiful tribute to Morran that this book is. With love, Anna Victória
Oh my.... Camilla I am so sorry for your loss. It is very hard to lose a pup, especially one that has been by your side for so long. Take comfort in these moments now that your Morran had a spectacular life and brought joy to so many people. She'll be missed by many who never even met her... That's something.
Heartbreaking. So sorry. The book tribute is lovely. I've read your blog for a few years, and recently adopted a dog. Though I wasn't thinking specifically about Morran at the time, she must have crept into my subconscious because I ended up with a small brown and white dog too. The mutual affection and warmth that you shared was inspiring.
Camilla, I just read this and started crying right away. Morran has always been one of my favorite parts of your posts. I also have a small dog and know I will feel the same sadness someday. Sending you much care and compassion from the States.
