♥ Morran ♥



It started slowly in the beginning of the week. She wasn't as happy as usual to go on our walks. Just a small thing but noticable. Then she got fever and for everyday that went she become a little bit more ill. She was tired and was breathing very shallow, but I would say still in a good spirit. Had to bark at the postman and still wanted to play a little. The cancer in her lungs had grown much faster than expected. You know already what the next sentence is going to say so I will not write it...

    Dear Camilla, I have been following you and Morran through your beautiful blog. I am not much of a believer, but I do believe in a dog´s heaven where they bark forever happy, chase birds and butterflies and from where they send us their unconditional love.     I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful girl. I feel like you shared Morran with us all over the world and she was part of our families too. She'd make me laugh with her expressions, make me want to come hiking with you both and enjoy the scenery.     oh no, how terrible! I really feel with you, that is one of the hardest things one can experience, such a loss! Sweet Morran.
    As I lost my dog 20 years ago, it took me 20 years to buy another one.
    The good thing is: you and Morran had a good life together, she was a very lucky dog.

    I have been reading your blog from Australia for a number of years (I think 5 at least) and I have always loved and looked forward to the updates and photos of Morran and her adventures. She was a lovely companion and you gave her a wonderful life. Strangely even though I don't know either of you, I think I will miss her... but surely not as much as you will. Take care.
