I have to say easter is my favorite holiday, it is spring and you don't have to do anything special except to paint an egg or two.
These photos made me smile -

(thank you for the chocolate, Barbara! I could not stop myself, but ate it all at once and by myself...)

Glad you liked the street photography, an amazing eye, funny and surprising.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought about Easter that way before. Sort of a no-pressure celebration with chocolate! What's not to love?! I think it meant more when I lived in England and spring was so much more important. In southern California we don't really have seasons, just a year-round climate.
ReplyDeletedreamy. and a promise of nature waking up!
ReplyDeleteEaster is my favourite holiday too. It's so relaxed and one gets to eat the best of foods in the best of company.

ReplyDeleteMatt Stuart pictures are so funny... and good! Thanks for the link! Made me laugh!
I am dying to find out where these photos were taken, they look so much like a lake where I used to go with my family as a child
ReplyDeleteGabrielle, it is somewhere in Dalsland, I don't know where we just stopped the car and walked a bit.
ReplyDeleteAliblahblah, how do you like it? I reckon I would miss the seasons
ReplyDeleteSukk! I am so glad I got to spend easter on a farm in the woods this year, and not on a cottage with no water and melted snow.
ReplyDeleteI wish easter was so late every year :)
