  11. Such a lovely collage. Do you ever do huge collage style installations? (sort of like Shazia Sikandr has done but in your style?) Anyways, I think that would look amazing if you did.(Not that your work isn't already amazing! :)

Eva, I haven't seen hers (couldn't find anything either)? Later this year I will make something like that, for a public commission. I will of course blog about it.

  15. Thanks!
Barbara, I could find her but not any work that I could refer to, that had anything to do with what I do or big collages on walls or so...

  16. Yes, I spelled it wrong.. her name is Shazia Sikander. Here's a link : http://www.pbs.org/art21/artists/sikander/# Look at the "artists at work" slide show to see some images of an installation of hers. And if you get a chance to watch it, the whole segment on her is beautiful and fascinating.

  18. i just have to say i love how the 'pebble' with the crossword is cut so perfectly well. i have clippings of puzzles from 50's magazines and this was a refreshing reminder to put them to use. they were intended as backgrounds but now, who knows...

I love this image, and used it to accompany a poem this morning:

Please email me at jenarstrong(at)gmail(dot)com if that's not ok, and I can remove it!

    Best,

    Jena
