My mom used to fill the books with leaves. As I grew up it was great to open a book from the shelf and see all the very thin yellow leaves. Some of them were too delicate and almost shreded to the touch. Your post has brought up beautiful memories of evenings at home.

Thats such a lovely idea! I want a book of leaves to be sent to me x
What a beautiful idea. And the cover of that book is gorgeous. I too wish someone would send me one, I would be a happy camper.
oh! and my word verification is "moran". So fitting don't you think.
Inspiration is sure to be found from these things sent. Here's to your collaboration with Ana, and new things brewing for the coming year.

i used to do it for myself when i was a kid... maybe i should re-take that idea :D

so sweet! I like how the leaf stems protrude beyond the book page edges.... just hinting at their presence...

How charming! Love the color of the twine too.
Such a lovely gift. I can imagine seeing both of your work together. Have fun getting ready for it.

That is such a lovely idea. I think I'll make one for myself and then maybe one day gift it to someone.

thanks for sharing.
nice to meet you to!
And a beautiful book! I like it when I look in a book and discover some leaves I put there years ago...
You and Anna will find out a great inspiration in those travelling leaves, inprisioned in leaves of words.
Lycka till på vernissaget! Jag har också det på lördag. Snart får vi pusta ut lite...
