Good dog, good dog

How come people, including myself, say everything twice when they talk to dogs?

Dottie Angel is going to be in the second volume of the Suitcase Series!
Ace Camp is having a workshop with Dottie in a week from now.
Uppercase will also make a book with Lisa Congdon's "A collection a day, 2010".

  1. Yeah, I wonder too. Also: how come people - especially myself - ask and answere questions when they talk to babies? "Are you smiling? Yes, you're smiling. Are you a cute baby? Yes, you're a cute baby. Are you eating? Yes, you're eating."

  4. Maybe because we have to soothe ourselves? I always found I said the good things twice and the scolding things only once when I talked to my dogs.
