My first Semla this year. I try to restict myself to somewhere around 7. There is always cream left in the paper bag + I put a piece of the cakes top in the bag, before I close it and give it to Morran. Here she is, eagerly waiting.
I love this photo by Yann Orhan, Nos vies invisibles. Related to these photo's by Cecilia Östebo.

Here I must bake my own semlor each year, but I remember walking to school in Göteborg, when I was in 5th grade at Johannebergs skolan, there was a konditori just near the school, and a few of us would buy a semla in the morning before school sometimes, if we had a little extra money.
That looks so delicious! I am very partial to pastries with cream in them. Patricia
I love learning about Swedish culture :)

I JUST HAVE TO TASTE A SEMLA!!!!!!! NOW...:D
Morran är så himla söt! Jag kan inget om hundar, vad är det för ras?
yes, I do love those Yann Orhan photos... wow...
can understand why Morran is so eager... it looks very yummy.
åh semlor. det är ju typ allt gott i en enda bakelse.
Hej!
No semla yet for me this year. But the one from last year got the 5 stars of the GP !
The photo of Yann Orhan and even more the photos of Cecilia Östebo remind me an photographies I have seen in Lyon a few years ago. Tyvärr! I cannot remember the name. So instead I advice you this finnish artist which is also playing with the human body : A. R. Minkkinen

Those looks delicious!
I remember surfing a wonderful webshop, kind of like Etsy.com, but much more artsy. A lot of the artist Camilla recommends has their own shop on this particular site. If anyone knows what this shop is called, please tell me the address! Much appreciated!
This seems delicious!!
looks delicious!
Thank you for Yann Orhan, he was a great inspiration!
Lucky Morran. She is a blur of anticipation. Many congratulations on having your artwork on display at the railway station. It looks super

When I see the word "semla" I always read it wrong; I read it as "selma".
