Remember my knitting?

I've finished my knitting, this is the result. I'm very happy with it. The idea comes from one of Nina Sagulin's books. Talking about ideas - take a look at this one, lace and ice, if it only was a little bit colder here I would certainly try it.

If you like to make snowflakes but doesn't want to have paper scraps all over, this is a good place :) Thanks for the link Camilla.

I agree with everyone, that knitting is SO nice! It looks really good on you. I like that you can use it in all these different ways. Was it hard to knit?

your knitting looks so ethereal and organic. It reminds me of the annulus that has a transient life on a mushroom http://www.ilmyco.gen.chicago.il.us/Terms/annul216.html
Thanks so much for the link to my lace and ice post.

Such a soft and light scarf. The colour of clouds, it looks like it could float away. I am still working on those snowflakes...

Beautiful, looks like rowan kidsilk (my fav). I am knitting a tunic in the same colors.

Are you on Ravelry Camilla?

how beautiful! is it difficult to knit lace?

Camilla Engman said...

habitual, you're right it is kidsilk!

It was easy to stich, just the same ordinary stich all the way round and round and round...

I'm dying to know - as I don't speak Swedish - what is that "ordinary" stitch? I'm new to knitting and I LOVE the look of it! Your collar/shawl is so lovely... Thanks so much-
best, marika

That's just it, I don't know what it is called. It is just the ordinary stich, the most common knit stich.
