Dear Camilla, today I had a big surprise in a library in Torino, my city. I saw a book on a shell, it was a book of Bulgakov, published by Newton Compton. I looked at the cover and I liked it a lot. And I spoke with my friend ans said : "Look it seems a drawing of Camilla!!" And so..I discovered that really that cover page was made by you!!!It was so funny! And i was happy to find you in that library!
i've not visited here for a while (since the day you mentioned last chance on the mobile swap), lots of nice images and SO exciting to see your collaboration with Karin growing.
re. the mobile swap, yes, a lot of my papers were envelopes. I mostly collect blue and white ones, my true passion, but i save grey and black (and others) for occasional use so i had plenty to dive into when paola said she liked grey and white best.
it felt so good to finally make something for the 1st time in ages. this illness has been so creatively inhibiting, but i was determined to do this one thing, so thanks for the link that sent me there.
look ... love the transparency in these little ones. when they drink their coffee does it appear in their bellies? You're full of surprises! (i even think they might be cold, sitting on the concrete) ;)
i love this piece - the simple color and the mix of photography is wonderful. i've really enjoyed the photos of your collections, too. it inspired me to start shooting some of my collections (which i recently posted about). best to you :)
