Istanbul - Ayasofya

"Is a former patriarchal basilica, later a mosque, now a museum. Famous in particular for its massive dome, it is considered the epitome of Byzantine architecture. It was the largest cathedral in the world for nearly a thousand years, until the completion of the Medieval Seville Cathedral in 1520." - Wikipeda. This is how it looks from the outside.

Taking the middle photo thinking about Abigail.

It would be wonderful to watch these artisans/craftsmen at work. In our disposable world it is so amazing to see such attention to detail, and to imagine a culture that creates such beauty.
Beautiful capture of these spaces.
I've said it before:
I love your eye.
