Easter exhibition

I'm on my way to a castle in Skåne, Bibbi and I will participate in an easter exhibition.

The big easter eggs are now in their place at (another castle!) Tjolöholms palace in the garden. "Påskharen was here" - 10 eggs - 10 artists, 2nd of april to the 2nd of may.

Mountain dress

These pictures of Archie Zimmermans work makes me happy, and makes me want to work in wood. There is a lot of other great work like this mechanical bank.

Easter bunny eggs

Last week I painted easter bunny eggs along with a bunch of other artists. Per Agelii is the coordinator and also the one who had laid the eggs. I took the opportunity to sneak around and photograph corners of his workshop. An egg weighs about 90 kilograms/198 Pounds! When they are finished they will be placed outside in a palace garden, Tjolöholms Slott. I'll show you more soon.

There is a sale going on over at Studio Violet!!

Wrapping

What has that cat in his mouth? I guess it is his own paw but it looks like someone else's hand.
These sardines looks more like tiny aquarium fishes to me, but who cares when the lady that sells them looks so nice :-)

Folk Object, found through Design Sponge.

Vorrei avere

I've got Vorrei avere (maybe something like "I wish I had"?), a new book from Topipittori, in my hands. Written by Giovanna Zoboli and illustrated by Simona Mulazzani. As all their books it is beautiful. An extra plus for the sketches in the end of the book.

Paolo from Topipittori says - "If anyone is going to Bologna, for the Children's BookFair, the original illustrations will be on exhibition in Vignola, at Libreria Castello di Carta, half an hour by train from Bologna station, with the bonus of a marvellous Renaissance castle, the most famous elliptical stairway in the world, and all the sweetness of Torta Barozzi" - I can testify that the torta is very tasty :-)

Spring

It is still a lot of snow outside. But nevertheless it is spring! You can feel it. The sun is warm, birds are singing and it smells like spring. People are already sitting outside and drinking coffee. I had to make a small spring plantage on my table, very up-lifting.

Studio Violet will start a print-sale on friday.

Three links found over at SuprBo - Ji Lee - Heather Donohue's little stamp houses - yuruliku's green marker.

My windowsill

Once again I've made a collaboration with Rosa, another ribbon, you can find it here.

I love DIY! Here is one for making an ottoman pouf out of a carpet, and another one on how to sew a zippered throw pillow.

Jag tror jag dånar

Hear me roar (sorry, you have to understand the title :-)

It is still really cold and a lot of snow here, but the sun is getting warmer and the birds are preparing for spring(love). You can feel it, you can smell it. I long for spring, to be able to walk normal (no ice or slippery snow), to not have a ton of clothes on. Spring, we are ready for you, you are more than welcome! I want to wear dresses like this.
