Show opening 1st of may 3-6 pm (kl 15-18). 1 may-24 may.

Carving in rubber

Peg sent me these soft rubber blocks, for stamps, a while ago. I've carved some shapes, having my organized collections in mind.

YouTube (and the rest of the internet) is like a treasure island, you can find anything, learn everything. Like this - Gel medium photo transfer, looks like fun.

We went to see a exhibition at Gothenburg Art museum, Other art. Very inspiring. I didn't photographed the actual show but so did Elisabeth (the first photo on her blog is a portrait of Michael Jackson :).

Bibbi is helping us (Studio Violet) to burn our porcelain. She got every single porcelain dish in place! We didn't do much to help her. I drank coffee on her doorstep, Morran was laying in the sun and Elisabeth ran around in Bibbi's workshop, and photographed. Bibbi's blog.

The weather has been fantastic all week, and still is, so I'll have to leave you know and run out to the sun and blue sky :)

Treats and treasures

Janine and Glen brought a lot of lovely stuff from Canada to Sweden. For example the first issue of Uppercase Magazine! The fantastic wood cut of Morran is made by Lisa Brawn to me (or maybe it was to Morran...). Isn't it fantastic!! Lisa, I am forever grateful.

They have met Elisabeth in Studio Violet and we had a dinner with Sandra and Johan. Now they are on their way to Norway - Denmark - Finland, I'll meet them again at Manos 1st of may.

Tourist in my own city

If Glen and Janine continue walking like this, they will return to Canada and Uppercase in a very good shape :)

I went to get my hair cut yesterday. I met my hairdresser at one of the best cafes in Gothenburg, Bar Centro. She's the one to the left, she's sweet and totally crazy :) She's been cutting my hair for over ten years now, with me beeing unfaithful just a few times.
