Taking a closer look

Structure - pattern - material - direction - colour - imagine the feeling when you touch it - the smell - the surrounding.

An old link, but just as good nevertheless, Mari Andrews.
Alexandra continues with her sunday series, Art as Business

Terrific photographs! I especially love the colours in the first one, the hint of red.

Ja, man blir nästan knäckt när man tar sig tid och stannar upp och tittar nära:)

so lovely. i remember an art history teacher who constantly asked us "what do you see?" and when we answered, guessing what she wanted to hear "yes, but what do you really see?". sometimes we see and we don't at the same time.

Great photos, thank you for the creative thoughts. Mari's work is amazing, I like her blue leaves, so intense. She has a good sense of space, love her sculptures. Thanks for the link!

Verlkigen fina bilder, som alla andra på den här bloggen faktiskt.

Kul att se dessa två olika strukturer ihop, det funkar ju verkligen finfint.

Beautiful photos, the first is particularly striking! The delicateness of the feathers and the raw unevenness of the bright red beak is such a cool contrast. This picture really draws you in. Would love to see it as a large poster .

Cruising around the web sometimes and somehow makes me blunted due to the abundance of the pictures. But these two are an illuminative eyecatcher.
