It is strange how a word transforms when you look at it closely and read it slowly. After a while you are not sure if it is a word at all. At least it can't be spelled like that, can it...? Enkelt = simple, easy, plain. A reminder. The studio is starting to feel like home.

the little fox in the corner is so cute!~
Beautiful photos.
Understand very well what you write about enkelt. For me it's the same for example with the German "bald" - means "soon".
I read it wrong first: "enkeli"= an angel. It took me a while to read it right, even thoug i do understand swedish a little and "enkelt" is one of the words i still remember.
That "word transforming" happens to me often with names.
I love your tea corner. It made me instantly brighten and put on a kettle.
Thanks for the links - Bennet's work is fascinating. The initial hit is traditional, Hopper, but with a dollhouse quality.. and finally they are all sort of menacing.
Are you familiar with Amy Cutler? Maybe there's a better site somewhere, because these shots are far too small to see what she's doing.
fin post. Men är det bra eller mindre bra att studion känns som hemma!?
Your studio looks so cosy, the fox must feel very comfortable there :-) I would love to sit there too.
oh I do love your fox!
I feel a strengh of peace...
I know exactly whay you mean about certain words, I have some like that. Love your blog, your work & especially Morran as I have a little terrier too.
Yeah, I love that feeling when you look at words or a word for a long length of time. It is both peculiar and amusing.
Happy to read that your studio feels like home.
I know exactly what you mean, but it never easy to explain. When you think a word over and over it starts to sound wrong, as if you have just made it up.
(For me it is the word 'Night')
love that first picture, beautiful!
For me it's the word 'going'.
and sometimes you will say the same word really fast and you can hear another word aswell
enkelt är ett bra ord.
fint har du det åxå. finfint med alla resväskor och bordet.
I´m an artist too, sort of..well at least I´ve been to some art schools. :) and I have this thing about art. I cannot splitter (english word?) up myself like a lot of other people do. like that you have this studio, that you´ve decorated it nicely and explain you feel at home at. if I were going to have a "studio" I would feel like its not a part of me, it would feel like a shop or something, like, shallow. cause I have this trouble with "things". I get emotionally attached to it/them. I know its stupid, but thats me. so everything around me, in my home, must be things that I can feel like is a part of me, that theyre there for a good reason and therefore I could never be a decorator. I feel shallow when I decorate to much. like, more than the things i need. need I tell you this makes my life as an "artist" more difficult than for other artists, that may have a bit more self-distance? haha. Its freaky.
