Water

Just to make a cup of coffee it takes 140 litres (30 gallon) of water, sounds a lot doesn't it. But for a hamburger it takes 2 400 litres (528 gallon) of water! Water footprint.

Chocolate finger

Today I got myself an extra tasty chocolate from Fröknarna Kanold (dark) with seasalt, yum.
So this is my advice to you - eat good chocolate this weekend ;)

Foxy Foksy

Foksy is in town! Her name is Rudy. We made a trade but I asked Celina if it was possible to buy even if you live outside Poland. This is her answer
To buy a Foks from abroad (outside Poland) the best way is to order it via email on cel@celapiu.pl Fokses come in 8 colours (cream, grey, cobalt, cool green, red violet, ginger, plum and black) and in two different lengths. Short one costs 165 PLN (approx. 70 US dollars), long one 199 PLN (85 US dollars). Shipping across Europe is 25 PLN (approx. 10 US dollars). It's payable by international transfer only. You can also order a Foks via my e-shop, but it is in Polish only so far: http://www.celapiu.pl/html/sklep/kategoria-2-14-79.html

Big City / Stor stad

I got my own photo/screenprints from Maria today! I've made the drawing and she has screenprinted it over her photos. If you want your own go (surf) to the Port2port press shop.
I love them both, of course, but one a little bit more, which one do you think?

Buä buä

Sorry, I didn't meant it to be whining. I actually just tried to answer some of the most common questions and to give information about things you might like to know about me. I think it is when your english isn't good enough, it easily gets blunt. That's why we uses a lot of smileys :) And that's also one of the reasons why I don't write more than I do. But I admit it's been much to do lately, but it is mostly fun things so I am not complaining...yet ;)
I took the picture of Morran for Lines & Shapes, a photo of my favorite spot.

Dimensions

It's already friday...!? How on earth did that happen? I feel totally confused, a whole week on three days.

Ana has got a new man in her house.

I've got several e-mails where people are asking me if they can buy my calendar - yes, in my web-shop.

Lines & Shapes

Lines & shapes Vol.05 is here, it's a swedish issue with the theme of light/ljus. Maria and Lena have done a great job as usual. The participants are Karin Eriksson, Sandra Juto, Elisabeth Dunker, Albert Sjöstam and myself.

Colour fiesta

Nature is having it's last party before bedtime. Full of colours, smell and confetti. I'm invited. It's still warm but I brought my Lotte-scarf just in case.

Thank you all, for your comments and for celebrating Studio Violets shop opening with us!

Friday - freeday

Haven't done much useful today. Brought home some flowers though :)

The least I can do is to give you a few links, but before you disappear in the web - have a good weekend.
Mimi has done the cutest "tiny world pincushions".

I didn't knew I needed one

And suddenly I had bought a typewriter. I always wished for one when I was young, it took a while to get one. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it. It is totally different from using a keyboard, it is physical -you have to press the keys really hard. I like it. If it is anything you need to know about typewriters go to the Uppercase blog. Talking about Uppercase blog, I found a link to Grace Partridge's parking passes there.

Thank you Drömma Lotta for writing so nice about me :) Lotta has a beautiful shop here in Gothenburg, Haga. Unfortunately, for most of you, she's only writing in swedish, she writes wonderfully poetic and I have a feeling she is a superromantic and passionat woman + she is in love, you can only imaging.

Raining on roof-windows

Today was the first day I spent in the studio while it was raining. We have three big roof-windows and the sound of the rain was so nice. Morran appreciated beeing inside.
