I didn't knew I needed one

And suddenly I had bought a typewriter. I always wished for one when I was young, it took a while to get one. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it. It is totally different from using a keyboard, it is physical -you have to press the keys really hard. I like it. If it is anything you need to know about typewriters go to the Uppercase blog. Talking about Uppercase blog, I found a link to Grace Partridge's parking passes there.

Thank you Drömma Lotta for writing so nice about me :) Lotta has a beautiful shop here in Gothenburg, Haga. Unfortunately, for most of you, she's only writing in swedish, she writes wonderfully poetic and I have a feeling she is a superromantic and passionat woman + she is in love, you can only imaging.

Welcome to the past century, Camilla!

Typewriting machines are enigmatic. The energy in your brian must be send to your fingers to see what your are thinking.

Yours is beautiful.

You make us live a perfect living through your blog. Thanks.

Funny that I see your post because I just read Amy Karol (angrychicken's blog) got one as well. It just happens that Sophia (my 9 year old) is very fond of old typewriters and has been typing her stories in one of them. She is not interested in printing them from a computer. You can see her latest project here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/robertogreco/2613616333/

It looks to me like they are coming back just like the good old stuff.

That is a very pretty typewriter! I love the colors. Now you can explore all of the different kinds of correction stuff. My favorite is the correction tape that comes in a little clear plastic pod with gears inside. It is much smoother than the old "white out" or "liquid paper" that makes blobs!

Lovely, they seem so much more romantic than a computer keyboard.

this "desire" from when you were little (your little fingers)... why doesn't it surprise me one bit?

its great that you have the old literature with it, too. I have an old old Remington... its like a black train.

Jag hade glömt bort att jag har en skrivmaskin! Den är just nu "i en galax långt borta" = det proppfulla källarförrådet...
