Today we celebrate Lucia. I have to work so I just ate the traditional Lucia bun, Lussebulle, and lit some candles.
I got an early Christmas gift today, I think you can guess who it is from just by seeing the packages :) Thank you sweetie!
Christmas lights are up, I will buy a tree this weekend.
Nice typography.

Ohh beautiful candle light...one of my favorite things. Warm, still, quiet light...
I love the light(s) in your white apartment Camilla...I would give my right arm for your lamp :)
cool star...
Nice with a gift...:)
we celebrated Lucia last weekend in L.A at the Swedish Christmas Fair, it was a bit strange, really fancy, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers singer was here on stage to crown Lucia and read a poem...that's Holywood.
We bought some Semlor though! finally found some.
God Jul Camilla!
Candles... what a beautiful light. And your Lucia "candle -holder" (sorry I don't know the name in english!) it's amazing!
Lovely photos: there's something charming about your candle woman with the three candle lanterns. Saint Lucia is a wonderful symbol of light, and courage. What is considered the symbol of the candles on the head--the saintly glow we see in paintings over saints, or as some suggest that she was set on fire, and did not burn. (That last idea comes up elsewhere in myth.)
From Bibi's blog, it seems dark there--though bright here still (only 2 pm). The sun came up here in a fog this morning, out of blackness into white, then it turned all pink. The fog held its pink glow in a very mystical way.
Happy St. Lucia day--am still trying to eat all your links, little by little--they are all, like your work and your blog little candles of light. Thanks.
Idag fick jag min HSB-tidning. Jag är numera alltid ivrig att se vad du gjort för illustration - och vad du kan ha fått för instrutkioner. Ha en trevlig Lucia!
oh I read the St. Lucica's article and the mention of Lussi has now caught me in the web of Scandinavian lore, I've been reading all morning.
Happy St. Lucia's day
gottegris! jag ska också äta lussekatt nu, men först crumpets.
everything looks so festive!
The ambience in your home is beautiful!
fin ljusdrottning! samt fina pakeeeet! åh!
LOVE the light. i agree, would give my right AND left arm for your lamp.
:) and on lucia, too!
so glad the package is there... nice to see the brown paper with string at your place. xxx
It's such a beautiful lamp, sculping the walls. "Cally Creates" has made som papercuts that resembles it (http://callycreates.blogspot.com/2007/10/my-work-4-day-sketchbook-papercut.html)
The YouTube-film is awesome. (I can't figure out how to post a YouTube video on my blog - I can only post the link. Can you tell me how?)
...with all these people offering you "arms" you could have your own Arm-y! What would you do with an army ?
(Maybe you shouldn't post this... ? _)
Lovely. This reminded me of my childhood when my mother initiated our family's celebration of St. Lucia day, complete with buns that I carried in and sometimes a wreath on my head (and holding a candle which my mother thought safer than wearing them on my head).
What a surprise, I got the same "Angel Candelar"
