Post-shopping-friday

I met up with Sandra after a shopping tour, I guess we ended the night just in time ;)

Rare Device San Fransisco is now open. I wish it was a little bit closer.

Shari's and Judy's posts about Maira Kalman's book - the Principles of Uncertainty - (got to have it!) reminded me that Maira was a big reason why I become an illustrator. I think she is fantastic. I wanted to add a link, the Illustrated Woman.

A couple of days ago I bought the book and I just love it. Did you notice how heavy it is? In weight?
Camilla, thank you for that link to Illustrated Woman.
I just watched the video and inexplicably am teary eyed. Sometimes my heart feels so full. Makes me want to put paint to brush to paper.

In case you didn't know it: you were mentioned in an Italian magazine this week, D Casa.
